Too often have I seen students of all skill levels not being taught the proper technical fundamentals. This sets them up for frustration and prevents students from feeling the passion behind playing music.
At Naphtali Music, I believe that good technical habits formed early make all the difference. I accomplish this by furnishing lessons with foundations and principles that equip students to play at any level, even up to the highest levels of the RCM program.
Meet the Founder
Paul Naphtali has studied classical piano and violin since the age of 9. He holds First Class Honours in Piano Performance, a minor in Music from Redeemer University, and First Class Honours on the ARCT Piano Performance Examination — the Royal Conservatory's highest-level performance examination. He also holds an MSc in Biology from McMaster University, which means he approaches teaching analytically — understanding not just what to correct, but why it works.
